Has anyone compared the efficacy of pin killed compared to freeze killed? Most of us, especially the small beekeepers, do not have the access nor the skill set to use liquid nitrogen in a hygienic test procedure.

I find that you have to fill the ring twice to make sure the brood is
frozen it is not instant, check the other side of the comb for frost.
