I see. I misunderstood what you meant by what you wrote.

You asked about me still having comb in hives from the 1990s. Most of my brood comb is actually older than that. The only time I have bees build new comb is when I take combs from them to make nucs. So there isn't much new comb in my 500 some hives since I only make about 100 nucs each year and often don't sell all of them.
