All groups are being fed sugar and syrup for stimulation, but without
adequate protein, a colony simply is unable to sustain broodrearing.
Not surprising. I'd be willing to bet that you'll find adequate protein
will prove beneficial when other metrics are examined. Disease resistance,
overwintering, ect.
