Peter says

I have a first edition of Honey that Eva kindly signed for me - a treasured
possession - but I am not sure that everything is now as relevant as when it
was written; commercial varieties have changed (rape for instance) and
climate change may mean that we need a revision.

Obviously, it could use an update, and new commercial plant varieties introduce some changes. Climate change is likely to change bloom times, what grows where. That won't affect the basic information on issues like overall ranking of yield and sugar contents for many plants, especially the native plants. Much of the information in this book is as relevant today as it was when it was written.

I am in the process of having the library copy the sugar content and honey yield tables - they've a V-shaped copy machine for copying materials from books without the distortion often seen or a need to destroy the binding.
