> Is there actual data that shows levels of sugars being different?
Those search terms in Google give a good comprehension of the process:
"sugar production in plants"
"effect of temperature on sugar production in plants"
"The Direct and Indirect Effects of Increased Carbon Dioxide"
Further on, it seems comprehensible to me that if an element is missing in a
process (soil moisture, sunlight) - or if it is not present at the required
level, the result of the process (sugar) will vary in both quantity and
quality. Here it is accepted that the honey bees do not visit flowers when
the sugar concentration of their nectar is too low. Karl von Frish discuss
this aspect in 'Aus dem Leben der Bienen'.
