Randomly selected hives. Eight of the 40 that were in the yard. Seems like they knocked the pollen out of the cells by banging the frame down onto a sheet of paper on the deck of my truck. But, they may have dug some of the pollen out of cells w/ a tool of some sort. I was working hives to counteract potential swarming. I bet if you talked to Dennis van Engelsdsorp, Jeff Pettis or Robyn Rose one of them could tell you what was supposed to happen.
