http://youtu.be/kfssEf7yl4Y now they weren't docile, but they were thriving. I had to put 3 heavy flannel shirts on to prevent wicked guard bees.
Wolves and coyotes are devastating to the individual animal they prey upon, but over thousands of years they do nothing but make the prey species MORE FIT. Remove those pressures and look what happens to deer in highly populated areas. The population goes up, then crashes when disease rears its ugly head.
Leeches are very old creatures and they will kill individual animals, but if they kill off all other creatures what then?
