Hi All
We have bee colonies in an urban area and the bees collect asphalt from road construction in the area. I found some puplications that mentioned this when bees could not find enough natural sources (trees), but I'm looking for the cues that atract bees to collect this petrolium product? what is the common components b/w natural plant resins and asphalt? Any info?

Thanks

Aziz
