<If it does and you really have no problems, then why has so much time,
effort and money been spent trying to find cause of things like CCD?>

There's a whole lot of room between no problems and disastrous problems.
 There's also a lot to be said for tackling problems before they hit the
disaster stage.  We have cars that run just fine now, that doesn't mean we
should stop investing in making them better.
