Subject: A graduate student looking to volunteer this summer

Hello fellow listserv-ers,

My name is Paulina Przystupa and I am a third year graduate student in the
University of New Mexico Anthropology Department. My reason for e-mailing
is that I am interested in volunteering on a Historical Archaeological
excavation this summer. While my research interests focus on children and
institutions in America during the 19th century, I'm interested in working
or volunteering on almost any a historical archaeology project.

My only requests are that I'd like to fit this work into either June or
July, so I could do some of my own research this summer, and I am looking
for projects where the maximum temperature during the fieldwork would be
under 85 degrees as I get heat stressed easily (I grew up in the PNW) but
other than that anywhere in the US (or Canada) would be fine. So if anyone
is looking for an experienced volunteer this summer feel free to e-mail me
off listserv at [log in to unmask] and I can send you my CV.
