The Canadian Archaeological Association / Association canadienne d'archéologie Facebook page has regular updates on the situation.
The CAA unanimously adopted the following resolution at its Annual General Assembly in Montréal on Saturday :
"We propose that the Canadian Archaeological Association take a strong position against these cuts [at Parks Canada] to personnel and infrastructures and that it seeks the support of appropriate organisations in Canada and abroad."
