>When observing b e es in a winter cluster one sees wing movement
although not like fanning the hive
Hi Bob,
The obvious question (at least obvious to me), is
how would a wintering cluster of bees distribute
the heat effectively throughout the cluster?
...Surely, some areas of the cluster would
be cooler or warmer than others, so a mode
to distribute heat would be required. I wonder
if 'very slight movement' of wings help to distribute
warm air more effectively throughout the cluster?
