No. Like you I only have the Beowolf Cooper statement. Probably time some work was done on this. What I do see is that the smaller A.m.m. colonies do gather at least as much honey as the very much larger other colonies (Italians for example), but require a fraction of the feed. Last autumn I fed just 7.5kg (fondant = roughly 6.75kg sugar) to most colonies and some have not even used that. When we look at the cost of inputs these colonies win hands down.
