Do you have a clue how much one typical tractor/planter or combine even
costs?   It is not unusual for the new price tag to be in 6 figures.


Base price on a new combine  is 180k
Land values at about 3400 per acre here, provided you can buy 100 at a time
(east texas was at 9500 last week)

Tractor base price for a 85 hp series is around 90k

Won't even start on seed and input cost....  but it dwarfs anything a
beekeeper sees.  Typical bag of seed cost more than a hive.
