Randy wrote, “ I was pointing out that
antibiotic use is likely not the cause of bee problems in the U.S., since
the antibiotic-free "control group" in some European countries often
reports having similar problems as do beekeepers in the U.S. who do use
antibiotics.”

I would like to know where and who the “antibiotic-free "control group" are. I have not heard of them before.

The 76 honey samples tested by our national consumer group ’60 millions de consommateurs' found a multitude of pesticides and antibiotics including chloramphénicol, banned since 1995, chlortétracycline et la tetracycline were also mentioned. In total nine antibiotics were detected.

I can send the PDF (in French) off list.
