>What are the "Typical migratory beekeeping management practices"?
Hard to say what "typical" is, due to huge variation. The U.S. commercial
industry has for the last decade or so been highly dependent upon Taktic,
which is no longer on the market.
A number of commercial guys are trying, or have been using, other legal
treatments.
Some in Calif treat only twice a season, some more than a half dozen
times. Some monitor regularly, and treat accordingly; some only by the
calendar. Some are also more successful at beekeeping than others.
