Thanks for the link.
There are more using Russian stock, over long periods too, with good
success. At least a decade ago, Hubert Tubbs, Manley Bigalk and several
others ran Russians with little if any treatment, and of course Charlie
has done so for as long as I have known him. See http://russianbreeder.com/
I am not certain why more don't do so, but I gather it has to do with
economics.
