Quite interesting to watch this discussion (and obviously participate)

It's a esoteric discussion with no real definition.  What is purbred?  A
ludicrious notion put forth usually be someone trying to sell something,
either a dog or an idea.
Water can be pure, gold can be pure,  things we can identify with definable
boundries.  

Gentics??  Where mixing genes is required?  How could you define that as any
sort of purebred?   Always laugh when dog and horse breeders tout how pure
there lines are.  Same with bees. 
  
When you look at the DNA of Say AMM  and AMC  can you see a defined
difference?  with no crossing of genes....  From what I have seen that would
be no... and for the most part we wouldn't want too...  we have breed in the
traits we want.
