This whole debate is reminiscent in my mind with that which raged over the impacts of smoking and health.
I remember many years ago when the area where I live raised much tobacco.
Since then there was a buyout of all the farmers who raised tobacco. There is
hardly any tobacco to be seen in St. Mary's County, Maryland.
What I do remember is that when I first started to keep bees close to 40 years ago
I was told to keep the bees away from the tobacco because it some nasty honey.
I can't recall eating any "tobacco honey." Does anybody else remember anything
about tobacco honey?
Thanks,
Billy Bee
