Sorry, but I don't agree. We find about 4540 per pound, most researchers
estimate 5000. Extreme values in literature run from 5,600 to 3,000.
Mitchell in 1970 found 4,451 newly emerged workers per pound, 5,159
workers mature workers per pound.
Interestingly, she got 3,492 HEAVILY Smoked workers per pound.
Mitchell was working at Davis, CA.
