W/ what you wrote in mind, how effective is it for a beekeeper to rotate out a percentage of comb each year if they wish to have positive effects on brood production? If one is only replacing 2 combs per year in a two story hive and contaminant levels in new comb come to equal that of old comb, does it matter if one replaces combs at all? Other than for reasons other than concerns over contamination.
