I recently did a tour of some of my apiaries with our local Bee 

Inspector as many of my sites are within 3 miles and a furlong of known 

EFB infected hives.  Read all about it on

The Inspector washed his hive tool in a bowl of water with a quantiy of 

washing soda between sites.
