Thank you everyone for your advice on the embossed bottle frags. Carol,
the letter before the A does look angled in the photo, but in person it is
straight up and down which is how I came up with H. I also thought about M
and N. Also, it is hard to tell in the photo but, in person, you can see
that the P is a complete P with no extension for the leg of an R. In
addition, the curve of the bottle indicates that the lettering runs
vertically lengthwise along a bottle. So far, IW Harper meets all of these
criteria except for the font issue.
I do agree with Nick that the font is very consistent on the bottle and in
advertisements for decades so the font is what is really throwing me off. I
did find ONE advertisement with a similar font and I added that to the
dropbox folder so that you can all put your eyes on it and give me your
opinion. So, right now, I'm rolling with his hypothesis that it's a
commemorative or limited edition bottle. So, I'll try a whiskey forum.

Carol, I also admit that I have let myself get locked in on I.W. Harper
because I can't seem to find another good fit. I'm trying to remain aware
of that bias, but I can't help it. Sorry to drive you crazy.
