Hi Emily,
You have an opium tin in the 2nd & 3rd photos; it looks like the top has 
been purposely cut out and may have been used as a "funs" tray.  Or perhaps 
that is the opening?  My opium tins always were opened by pulling off the 
lid.

Anyone else out there agree or not?

I'd love to help you further, but I'm having trouble staying on photo

Thanks to everyone who helped me identify some of my unknown artifacts from 
19th and 20th century Nevada Chinese woodcutting camps. I had a lot of help
