The Archaeology Channel Conference on Cultural Heritage Media [http://www.archaeologychannel.org/events-guide/tac-conference-on-cultural-heritage-media-2016] is so brand-new that we haven’t branded it yet!  We need a logo.  You can help us with that.  Please send in your best logo design for TAC Conference by our deadline of August 31.  Read on for more details.
 
TAC Conference is a convention-style gathering to take place May 11-15, 2016, at the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center in Eugene, Oregon.  We’re inviting interested parties to gather for the discussion of audiovisual media for the study, preservation and promotion of cultural heritage.  TAC Conference activities will include symposia, presentations, an exhibit hall, a banquet, and other events yet to be announced.  TAC Conference is held in conjunction with the thirteenth annual edition of The Archaeology Channel International Film and Video Festival [http://www.archaeologychannel.org/events-guide/international-film-and-video-festival], a juried competition in the cultural heritage film genre.  Attendees will include filmmakers, archaeologists, broadcasters, tourism organizations, film and TV distributors, educators, indigenous groups, government agencies, journalists, and others who have a stake in this media genre.
 
We are looking for a logo design that will work in a wide variety of contexts, including Web pages, print advertising, the printed Conference program, social media posts, correspondence, and so forth.  The winner will receive two free passes to the Conference Exhibit Hall and symposia and to all Festival film screenings, as well as very visible acknowledgment on our Conference Web page and in the Conference program.  This will look very good in your resume and your portfolio.
 
Here are some key guidelines:
 
Logo should be scalable in a vector format: .eps file format required.
Minimum size: 300x300 pixels; maximum size: 6000x6000 pixels.
Maximum of three entries per contestant.
