As co-listowner of the discussion list for the Texas Archeological
Society, I am interested in knowing whether other listowners may have
perceived a fall-off in volume/interest/subscribers/participation on
their lists with the advent of social media? So I pose the question, are
we witnessing the demise of discussion lists, similar to the way (a
half-century ago) we witnessed with the introduction of a new social
communication technology "video killed the radio star?"
