Hi Stacy,
We just finished a project on the Llano del Rio colony, ca. 1913, for Caltrans, District 7. It was a socialist colony that lasted three years in California, then moved to Lousiana until the 1930s. I will get a reference for you.

Hi Histarch Community,
Have you or your colleagues investigated a utopian community for a CRM project?
I'm trying to conduct a fairly thorough literature search for archaeological
studies of utopian and intentional communities, and would appreciate any
references to gray literature or other under- or unpublished works.
Please contact me off-list at [log in to unmask]
Thanks in advance,
