Hi all
There is a wealth of information on both the concepts and methods of habitat restoration. In my opinion, however, the chief stumbling blocks are neither money nor the will to act. The big problem is the conflict between the crowd that wants to restrict restoration to natives only, in accordance with arbitrary criteria; and the crowd that values restoration for its benefit to all species, including opportunists like the honey bee, etc. When and if these groups can compromise, the project will begin to move forward. Otherwise, it's bound to languish in a stand-off.
