I
have bees drawing 100 frames of deep Pierco that I did roll extra wax over
and 100 frames of deep wired foundation. I am not doing a comparison the
foundation is going to be for selling nucs the pierco is for my own use. I
am feeding them 1:1 syrup for the job and keeping them slightly crowded. If
any one has the answer to Randy's question please post it here so I can
adjust my feeding.
So far they are drawing things out well and no there is difference between
the Pierco or foundation as far the bees getting started on the frames. I
have made some mixed boxes to see if they prefer one over the other I will
write back on those results.
