Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology's 2014 conference will be held on November 7th, 8th, and 9th, at the Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch, New Jersey. There will be tours of Monmouth Battlefield, Joseph Bonaparte's Point Breeze Estate, and the 19th-century African American community of Timbucktoo. There will also be workshops on blacksmithing and early American glass, and a tour of Raritan Landing combined with a workshop on digital reconstructions in archaeology. In sum, there is something for everyone! More information and the call for papers is appended below. I encourage you to attend the conference and present a paper.

All the best,

Rich Veit
