Hi Pete,

In your post, I read this:

"A survey of the microbial communities of CCD hives"

How did they do the survey?  One of the criticisms I've read regarding microbial community "makeup" is that testing for each major class/minor group is extensive so some kinds are/could be missed.  How do they know whether/if they found all the microbes in the gut?
