Are you sure it's not the Hanley-based Weatherby & Sons (plural) rather than Weatherby & Son? It would also more likely be J.H. Weatherby & Sons rather than 'W.H. Weatherby & Son', though otherwise the dates for the firm would fit the Montgomery Ward catalogue date.
Weatherby and Sons were founded in 1891, and - slightly remarkably - only closed in April 2000.

Subject: Potter info
Good Day,
I have a collection of about 10 whiteware vessels marked Weatherby & Son
Anemone England surmounted with semi porcelain and a crown. The set is listed in the 1895 Montgomery Ward catalog as W. H. Weatherby & Son. The company is not in Kovel, Coysh & Haywood, or any of the English pottery sites I have visited. Can anyone give me the dates of the company?
