Queston: Is 30% then considered acceptable loss in any size operation? Is this annually or average over a certain number of years?
reply:
Once you reach clean and sustainable, and naturally sized with Nature, problems stop and you fall to normal 2-3% losses per year, with up to 10% in real bad years...............like drought/dearths bringing the loss numbers up.
and it's been said that to go back to natural doings and letting go of today's man-altered bees will make for up to 90% losses yearly until in tune with Nature again genetically which is sizing by latitude and altitude, and proper diet, with line breeding/outmating, and then taking the time for working up the survivor stock when the unsustainble junk stock is gone....for then going back to uniform parameters.
