Very interesting article posted included InPark Magazine's email today. http://www.inparkmagazine.com/suburbs/

I think we have all started to see satellite museums become more and more prevalent. An especially interesting cross-over between children's museums and science centers (both brought up in the article) is Discovery Place, the science center in Charlotte which is working on a series of children's museums for smaller communities. The second Discovery Place Kids will open in Rockingham (yep, where the NASCAR track is) on February 23rd. Here is a sneak peak article with an associated slide show. http://www.yourdailyjournal.com/view/full_story/21694589/article-Discovery-Place-KIDS---Rockingham-Sneak-Peak

Happy Valentine's Day! Kathy
