I've been following any studies on this and have yet to see any correlation
between the two.  As Jerry says, they may both be present, and I agree with
him that nosema + virus is likely a 1-2 punch (I also have some limited
experimental data that support that hypothesis).

The current study that I and others are running for Monsanto should help to
answer this question.
