For anyone wishing to understand the main causes of colony fall and winter
mortality, this is the study!  It completely corroborates everything that I
have found in my own studies!  The only shortcoming is that they didn't
continue to take samples past October, when the USDA data suggests that the
AKI viruses (new acronym here, which I like) become even more prevalent.

If one adds data for the prevalence of nosema over the season, the picture
really comes together (for any of you who have seen my ppt presentations in
the last year and a half, you'll understand what I'm talking about).
