jason - while at the science place in dallas, we did an ambulance exhibit.
we used a mannequin inside that was from a swedish firm. built a computer
program with some simple i/o to simulate a heart attack in progress. the
computer monitor quickly took visitors through a simple abc triage (airway
breathing circulation). they then had to position an oxygen mask on the
figure (read by the i/o), then hooked up electrodes from a fake aed device.
this triggered a 'graph' of an arrythimic heart. they could set the shock
amount and then 'shock' the patient.
contact bill smith ([log in to unmask]) for information on the
mannequin, keeping in mind nothing is bullet proof.
actually had the manufactuer's reps come by on their way to a convention
they were so curious to see what we were doing to their mannequin. and i
think it was the same folks that made resuci-annie (laredal.com).
good luck.
