ASTC is currently soliciting proposals for 10 one-hour sessions at the 2014 NSTA National Conference: Leading a Science Revolution. We invite educators from science centers, museums and other informal learning settings to submit a proposal for one of the available session slots. The National Science Teachers Association Annual Conference is in Boston, MA, April 3 - 6, 2014.

Conference strands for NSTA 2014 include:

*         Science and Literacy: A Symbiotic Relationship<http://www.nsta.org/conferences/2014bos/strands.aspx#literacy>

* Teaching Elementary Science with Confidence<http://www.nsta.org/conferences/2014bos/strands.aspx#elem>

*         Leading from the Classroom<http://www.nsta.org/conferences/2014bos/strands.aspx#leader>

* Engineering and Science: Technological Partners<http://www.nsta.org/conferences/2014bos/strands.aspx#tech>

Proposals that consider the role of informal learning institutions in understanding and implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards are of special interest for the 2014 ASTC strand.

Please submit an abstract and description of the session no later than Monday, May 13. A submission form can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/S66PDYY.
Confirmations for accepted sessions will be mailed by NSTA in October.
