Hi All,
Has anyone done a history of jug/pitcher shapes? I've got RK Henrywood's
book "Jugs" (Shire Publications 2009). He has used decorative style for
organization.
I have several of what are called Dutch shaped jugs, and their handles vary
in shape. Page 20 (bottom) and 35 (bottom) are examples of handle shapes
I've identified.
Are "Dutch shaped jugs" time sensitive?
Are there names for the handle shapes (or shall I invent my own)?
Thanks,
S. Walter
