Hello HISTARCHers,

We found what looks like a button or fastener on a residential site (in use
between 1890-1960) and were hoping to get some help identifying it. Here's
the link:

We haven't been able to narrow down dates or confirm that it's a button.
Someone suggested it might be a car part but we weren't sure. Any help
would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
