Subject: Bells
Dear Colleagues,
One of my graduate student, Lauren Cunningham, is working on an interesting Revolutionary War assemblage. She has a number of fragmentary brass bells as well as various 18th-century military artifacts. A few of the bells have initials marked on them. We are trying to determine if they might be contemporary with the American Revolution or if they relate to earlier or later agricultural activities on the site. If anyone would like photos, we would be happy to provide them. Thanks in advance for your help.
All the best,
Rich Veit
