And I for one appreciate your efforts!
It is difficult for me to imagine anyone arguing that replacing diverse
ecosystems such as the tallgrass prairie or the Central American rainforest
with monocrops of corn or oranges is an ecological improvement.
Ditto when an invasive species displaces several endemic species.
But in many systems, an introduced species can find an unfilled niche, and
actually increase diversity with little cost to the other established
species.
Just thinking...not proclaiming.
