There are actually several different "Bennett Patents" out there from the late 18th and 19th centuries, in various fields of endeavor.
Here's one possibility; a bracket or other piece of Bennett's Patent Double Oven Cooking Stove. This information is derived from an advertisement in The Guardian (London) newspaper, March 6, 1852 (page 12, rt column).
Here's another: in the February 1, 1859 issue of the newspaper, The Irish Builder (Dublin), on page 5 (rt column), an article describes window treatments using "Bennett's patent interlocking revolving shutters."
and one more: from the Detroit Free Press (Mich), June 13, 1880, an advertisement for "bennett's patent jump seat", for wagons and buggies.
I can send you jpegs of the adverts if you like, and other possible Bennett Patents if these seem an unlikely fit.

Subject: Mystery bracket
Dear All,
I'm looking for help identifying a cast iron bracket recovered from an
early 19th c house site in virginia. The bracket consists of two
perpendicular plates that slot together. The larger plate measures 8 in
long by 1 in wide and has three countersunk screw holes. The face is
stamped "BENNETT PATENT".The shorter plate is 4 inches long with 2
countersunk screw holes.
I've had no luck
