>Give it a try. Hundreds of commercial beekeepers can't be wrong.
Who said anything about "wrong"? Many of us have used the synthetic
miticides to wonderful effect. I've given all a "try," except for Hivastan
(fenpyroximate).
I can't remember ever saying anything negative about amitraz. You have the
benefit in Canada of amitraz being at the beginning of its run--of course
it works like magic! That's why it has been so widely adopted by U.S.
commercial beekeepers after the magic wore off for fluvalinate and then
coumaphos. And of course the magic will soon wear off for amitraz.
There is no argument between us, other than me trying to keep facts sorted
from opinions.
