In general, antibiotics require storage in a refrigerator or freezer. All antibiotics should be protected from direct sunlight. The relationship between the antibiotic activity and the temperature varies from one antibiotic to another. Most antibiotic solutions will remain stable stored at -0 °C for up to 3 months. Old Fumagillin label used to mention mix in lukewarm syrup. If you want to heat the syrup, I like the water bath as suggested but only to lukewarm to maintain the integrity of fumagillin activities.
