The Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority (PAHSMA) has a position available for an archaeology project officer as part of an upcoming conservation project for the Penitentiary ruin at Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasmania. The position will be required for 21 weeks from approximately February 2013. Duties will include managing field excavation and a volunteer crew as well as preparing technical reports. Applicants must be either an Australian citizen or resident, or have the appropriate Australian work visa.
