We recovered 5 mouth harps from Bright's Trading House/ Montgomery
Tavern site at Arkansas Post, primary occupations dating 1804-1821
(See Arkansas Archeological Survey Research Series No. 11). Context
did not allow attribution to one occupation or the other, though mouth
harps were not among the many items listed in documents from the major
contemporary traders in the region.
