In my research into the neonics, I also looked at the effects of nicotine.
It immediately jumped out that nicotine did not only directly affect the
nervous system, but also had effects on the immune system. I would expect
similar effects with the neonics.
It is surprising that effects were not found with the organophosphate,
since their is a great deal of literature on the effects of this class of
insecticides on the immune system. I'm curious about the immune effects of
other classes of pesticides and specifically miticides.
