Can anyone help with identifying the two artifacts below? Both artifacts come from the St. Mary's Hospital site in Virginia City, Nevada. The site was originally home to a beer garden in the early 1870s. St. Mary's Hospital was then constructed in 1875 and opened in 1876. It was administered by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, a community of sisters associated with the Catholic Church. When the Daughters of Charity left Virginia City in 1897, the hospital was sold to the county. The building served as the County Hospital until the 1940s. In the 1960s, the building became Saint Mary's Art Center. The building still functions as an art center today.

Artifact #1: Olive Green Bottle Base

This artifact was found in front of the hospital building in a pit feature. The mark on the base appears to be a backwards "N" with serifs. Can anyone help in identifying this mark?

Artifact #2: Copper Alloy Decorative Item

This artifact was found in a shovel test pit behind the hospital building. It appears to be some kind of personal adornment item; it may have attached to cloth. There appears to be a clasp on the underside on the tip of the leaf, and some kind of attachment point on what appear to be petals (seen on the left side of the photo).

Any help is greatly appreciated.
