Carl,
Arthur E. James wrote a book titled *The Potters and Potteries of Chester
County, Pennsylvania* that has a lot of information on the Vickers family of
potters. It was reprinted by Schiffer Publishing Company, of Exton,
Pennsylvania. I think that copies are still available in the Winterthur
Museum bookstore.
